The Work Behind the Name
At Freddy’s Auto Electric, a repair often begins with a conversation. A driver might say the car would not start this morning, though it was fine yesterday. Another has noticed the headlights dimming at a stoplight. Someone else has a warning light and no change in how the car feels at all.
Those are different experiences, and they do not always point to an obvious answer. We listen first, then examine the vehicle and follow the evidence. That approach has been part of our work in San Francisco since 1998.
Our name tells you where much of our expertise lies: automotive electrical systems. We diagnose and repair problems involving batteries, alternators, starter motors, wiring and other electrical components. We also provide the mechanical repairs and regular maintenance that drivers need throughout the life of a vehicle.

Since 1998, our work has centered on helping drivers understand what is happening with their vehicles and get the repairs they need.
